While in the way of Syria , Imam passed through a cave , where once in a year a monk coming out of it used to give lecture in the midst of Christians . Imam was present in that assembly . When he saw Imam he was struck with fear and after coming to Imam he said, Monk : Are you a stranger or a local ? Imam : I am a stranger. Monk :Do you belong to us or you are an opponent? Imam : I do not belong to you . Monk : Do you belong to previous nations ? Imam : Of course. Monk : Do you belong to religons or irreligious people of that nation? Imam : I do not belong to irreligious people. Monk : Will you give replies to my questions? Imam : Certainly. Monk : I say that the root of Tuba tree is in the house of Hazrat Isa where as you say that it is in the house of Hazrat Mohammad and its branches are in every house. Imam : As the sun is on the sky and its rays are in every house. Monk : It is said that food of heaven when taken will neither be finished nor lessen, how is this ? Imam : If thousands of lamps are kindled from the lamp its light nither finishes nor lessens. Monk : The shadow in heaven will limited . How is this ? Imam : As before sunrise , the shadow is limited. Monk : In heaven the people will eat and drink but will not require privy , how ? Imam : As child while in the belly of mother gets provision but does not feel privy. |
